Homework Help

Your child practices study skills to support their homework, before the games begin. Students have access to teacher assistance as well as online research and homework help resources.

Snack Zone

Explorers choose their own healthy snacks in the snack zone. Supervised cooking activities provide an opportunity to measure and “cook” healthy, creative snacks to refuel after school.

Star Zone

Students create and participate in performances, play musical instruments, sing karaoke and dance. Children express creativity, develop social skills and show off their musical talent while lighting up the stage.

Tech Zone

Explorers develop confidence in problem-solving skills as they explore how to safely access knowledge online. They use this information to write creative stories, develop charts, build slideshows and take virtual field trips.

Interest Clubs

Explorers plan, problem-solve and collaborate as they work in teams to explore new hobbies or interests they choose, like photography, a student newspaper, art or book clubs.

Create Zone

Explorers use a variety of materials and resources that allow them to express themselves creatively through art, writing stories, journaling and other media.

Game Zone

Explorers practice good sportsmanship and teamwork as they participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, sports and games. And it’s just plain fun!

Chill Zone

Sometimes a child just needs a quiet place to read a book, listen to music, or catch up with a friend after a long day. The Chill Zone is the perfect place to take a break, unwind, relax or reflect.

Helping Hands

At APK!, Explorers actively engage in community projects that help others in meaningful ways. Together with their friends, they learn the joy of giving without expecting anything in return.
